Description
Summary:This research project is carried out with the aim of characterizing the organizational citizen behavior in artisanal fishermen in the municipality of Puerto Colombia. Theoretically it is based on the contributions of Organ (1988) and Hernández-Sánchez (2017). Regarding the methodological scope, this was a study with a quantitative approach, being descriptive and with a non-experimental field design, where the application of a 22-item citizen organizational behavior questionnaire was applied to a sample of 50 artisanal fishermen from the municipality. from Puerto Colombia. The results show that the fishermen surveyed demonstrated having good levels of behavior directed towards organizational citizen behavior. They presented strengths in the dimensions of altruism and courtesy, followed by righteousness. It is concluded that organizational citizen behavior is essential for the development of organizations because it fosters collaborative behaviors that give great value to work teams.
