Description
Summary:Violence in Colombia has left a dramatic number of victims, whose damages in many cases are irreparable, transforming these adverse situations and moving towards forgiveness and reconciliation processes is a goal for all actors. This research studies the relationship between resilience and willingness to forgive guerrillas and paramilitaries by women victims of the armed conflict in Colombia. The design used was of a correlational type. The sample was made up of 90 women victims of the Colombian armed conflict. To respond to the stated objectives, the Personal Resilience Factors scales (Amar et al, 2014)) and a questionnaire about their willingness to forgive armed groups were applied (Crespo, Mercado y Turizo, 2019). The results show an internal correlation between the dimensions that make up the scales, as well as a positive correlate between personal factors of resilience and willingness to forgive paramilitary groups. Likewise, the need to continue to outline the fields of application and the limits of these interesting concepts is recognized.
