Description
Summary:In this document a hydrological study was carried out between a statistical analysis of maximum and minimum belonging to the limnimetric stations of Las Flores and San Jacinto, projecting the levels to the study sections and determining their hydraulic behavior, and a geotechnical study of the sections using data from the Adaptation Fund such as stratigraphy and soil parameters, in order to determine how the slope would fail by correlating its safety factor. For the development of the present investigation, two cross sections of the Cauca river were taken in the mojana region, specifically between the municipalities of Nechí and San Jacinto de Cauca, which determined a high probability of overflow in the whole section and in case of If there is a considerable increase in the level of water in the slope of the left bank, it would be affected in terms of its stability.
