Summary: | Analyzes the concentration of organic matter on the beaches of Puerto Velero and Caño Dulce, choose the months period from August to November 2013 and February and June of 2014, with support of an investigation that realize the female Doctor Beatriz Diaz of Autonomous University of the Caribbean of the Barranquilla city, is determined the quantity of bather that sign in to the beach for these months and is analyze the interaction that have the bather VS the organic matter present in the sea water. The analysis of samples of the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) is performed by the respirometric method and is supported for field observations realize in field. Compare the result obtained of the amount of organic matter present in the beaches of Puerto Velero and Caño Dulce with norms internationals of country with Uruguay and Cuba they have performed and standardized this parameter. It is determined that the study beaches have low or high concentrations of organic matter dependent of the norm international with the that is compared, so it can exist three possible sources of contamination. |
