Description
Summary:This research was proposed as a purpose, to design didactic strategies mediated by ICT, taking into account the learning styles of the students of the pre-school education program of the Latin American University Corporation. It was based on authors such as Gallego (1996) and Honey (1994), Marques (2007), Masero (2011), Ausubel (2008), Vigotsky & Kozulin (1995), among others, to give theoretical support to research. The methodology corresponds to a descriptive character supported by Hernández, Fernández Collado and Baptista (2014): by giving a detailed explanation of the different learning styles, as well as the academic use that students and teachers give to ICT. The information to validate this purpose was obtained from three survey-type instruments whose results showed that the predominant learning style in the group surveyed is the reflective one (25%). Another of the instruments indicates that a high percentage (70%) uses ICT to carry out their academic activities and, on the other hand, it was found that teachers (100%) do not take into account the different learning styles of their students for the academic use of ICT. The percentage of academic use that students give to ICT is 76.1%, while teachers do not take into account learning styles to implement ICT as a teaching strategy.
