Description
Summary:The present research work aimed to develop the mathematical thinking of elementary school students through the use of the Singapore method in the strategies used by the teacher, this study was done from a experiential introspective epistemological, critical socio paradigm and qualitative research approach. The techniques used were direct observation, interviews and focus group; there is a need to incorporate innovative methodologies that favour the process of teaching and learning mathematics, which is why, since the implementation of strategies mediated by the Singapore method, there were transformations contributed to the improvement of teachers' teaching and thus to the development of mathematical thinking.
