Description
Summary:The main purpose of this project is to determine the impact of the application of public politics of no violence against women during 2010 to 2015 in the municipality of Malambo, located in Atlántico, Colombia. In order to do so, it was made a description of the public politics that will be executed at country, department and municipality order. It was also identified the elements that does not allow the fulfillment of the politics and was identified the main factors that influence in the violence against women in the municipality of Malambo. In order to execute this project, it was executed a test research and the data was collected by surveys at public entities that serve as a conselor for attention and orientation for women, also there were surveys applied to women living in Malambo, which main insight was the lack of knowledge and poor diffusion of public politics of no violence against women, where economic or emotional dependance were important factors for the victims. Since public entities have limited time for public attention and lack of personnel, it is not shown big improvements in terms of evaluation of the politics results. Nonetheless, an important aspect to stand out is the economic empowerment strategy and the recent opening of “women’s office” and the difussion of the new emergency telephone number, 155, for NO violence against women. The strategy of the public entities should be aimed to improve the office hours and to speed up the creation of an unique route for the violence cases where there could be a better response for victims, and also create projects for self sustainable small companies where victims could be part of.
