Summary:This thesis aims to explain the effects of the "Colombia unites US" program in the Colombian immigrants in Spain, by sizing the scope and the projection of the program, describing significant actions and strategies, assessing the impact of the management of the programme in the perception and the welfare of Colombians resident in Spain. Investigated with a theoretical, qualitative and quantitative methodology confronted with results obtained in the surveys the population referred to above, through social networks; developed under an approach historical - comprehensive analyzing the behavior of the migratory phenomenon, combining the information gathered to appreciate interactions, particularities and processes that usually are not perceived if they are studied separately. Using data collection instruments as rapporteurships of interpretation, articles compiled thesis concerning the migratory movement between Colombia and Spain, hermeneutics, critical and comparative studies of both countries on migration legislation and to their foreign policies with regard to the protection of the rights of their nationals on condition of migrants. And a virtual survey the population about perceptions, experiences and reasons for migration, level of studies, trades or professions, experiences and expectations. Finally mentioned outstanding program, and positive aspects and proposals for improvement were also exposed. Concluding that "Colombia unites US" program is well raised and established, however it lacks initiative and publicity when it comes to exercise its functions. Since that the majority of the population surveyed don't know about its existence.
