description Con este trabajo se pretende determinar la importancia de la auditoría fiscal ambiental y las perspectivas legales del control Fiscal ambiental del Municipio de Medellín, enfocadas al control de la gestión ambiental, del uso de los recursos naturales y de la valoración de costos ambientales, de los entes auditados. La gestión ambiental se enfoca en crear condiciones que posibiliten el desarrollo sostenible frente a la depredación que sufren los recursos naturales por el uso indiscriminado o los impactos ambientales que afectan al medio ambiente en un determinado momento, frente a la ejecución de una obra pública, ocasionando graves perjuicios muchas veces irreversibles.
