Summary:For the development the project, technical standards were generated that have the capacity to clearly define if a part or component must be repaired or replaced. Firstly, we carry out an analysis of the automotive sector, with this we sought to identify particular of Colombian market, as brands and types of best-selling motorbikes. After that, the automotive sector was characterized, classified and identified. Subsequently we disarm the motorbike to characterized and analyzed the parts and these would be the most susceptible to damage in an accident then, the standards were generated to be taken into account when a motorcycle is valued. After that the processes of repair in plastic and metallic pieces were analyzed, then a simulation of a chassis was carried out by means of finite elements, the objective of this one is to show critical areas which must be inspected. Finally the information obtained in the development of the project was condensed into technical consultation files, which serve as support for the managers to carry out the technical evaluation of damage caused in a disaster or an accident.
