Description
Summary:The goal of this study was found the fatty acid profile in unfavorable environmental conditions studying the influence of nitrogen as a strategy to increase the fatty acids. The research was carry out a laboratory scale evaluating three differents concentrations 100%, 20% and 10% nitrogen ource used (NaNO3) in the Bold Basal Medium (BBM). For this evaluation was built a biomass production system, a Flat Panel Photobioreactor. Monounsaturated fatty acids production decreased in the assays 2 and 3. On the other hand the content of saturated fatty acids presented similar results in the three treatments.
