Description
Summary:Industrial waste of an agricultural type in Colombia has been implemented in the exploitation as the main source of the development of new strategies for the production of biomaterials, biofuels, chemical products and even energy generation, from the use of biomass. The leftover material from peaches is a promising material for many of the aforementioned fields, but this research specifically investigated the approach regarding extraction and quantification strategies of the cyanogenic glycosides contained in the peach seed, taking advantage of the process of cyanogenesis for the generation of high-value chemical products such as hydrocyanic acid and benzaldehyde through conventional methods for the characterization of these compounds, estimating in a descriptive way the performance of techniques at the laboratory level from their extraction by microdiffusion, simple reflux distillation and Soxhlet extraction until its characterization by gravimetric analysis as well as the implementation of microorganisms capable of producing enzymes such as Aspergillus Niger, a filamentous fungus recognized at an industrial level for its adaptability and production of metabolites that, for this project, its possible use was investigated. production by generating glycosidated enzymes by inoculating them in experimental trials in order to evaluate improvements in the enzymatic degradation of the cyanogenic glycosides involved in the peach seed.
