La palma de aceite como ejemplo para la agroindustria en Colombia

This work seeks to identify the positive contributions of the agroindustry of the palm to the economy and agriculture of Colombia, associated with the production activities of palm oil and its derivatives and as it can be an example for the other Colombian agrarian sectors, it was found that the alliances that Fedepalma has achieved have helped to grow and strengthen the sector taking into account the current conditions of agro-industry in Colombia. The oil palm to have different uses in the food, energy and other industries, with its two oils and their derivatives, one of them is the crude palm oil, from which come different additional derivatives for food, fuel and cosmetics among others and palmiste oil, the food for the animals, additionally the low or the biomass that is extracted from the oil of the palm fruit is used to generate energy, therefore the palm is a versatile product and with many opportunities in the productive field, which demonstrates the productive advantages of the oil palm for the Colombian agro-industry and is a highly organized and highly competitive sector that shows that an agrarian good does not have to be only dedicated to the raw material but can be transformed and that Currently, there is the installed capacity, industrial for the development of agroindustry.
