Summary:The main goal of this project is doing a proposal for the elaboration of an antibacterial gel based on leaves of Moringa oleifera Lam. (Moringaceae), commonly known as “moringa”, introduced in Colombia from India as forage material. For this, the plant material was collected in the Mortiño village of the Municipality of Carmen de Apicalá, Tolima (Colombia). Experimental work was development at the research group Productos Naturales Vegetales Bioactivos y Química Ecológica, classified C in Colciencias code COL050131 from the Facultad de Ciencias of Universidad Nacional de Colombia sede Bogotá.
