Description
Summary:The present degree work is born by recognizing the imminent use of new alternatives such as bioplastics compared to single-use plastics, an increasingly accepted alternative in society, as awareness of the current environmental problem is being generated, the accumulation of this waste solid. Therefore, the need to validate the biodegradation function of these plastic materials labeled on the market as biodegradable is generated. By means of the present experimental research, we want to supply this need specifically with a commercial plastic packaging of polylactic acid (PLA), having as a negative control high density polyethylene (HDPE) and as a positive cellulose control, through the development of an experimental technique in the which is part of three types of inoculum, Aspergillus brasiliensis, active sludge and finally 10% bio-increased active sludge with A. brasiliensis, the latter to generate a direct result comparison with the active sludge.
