Summary:For the development of this project, initially the information regarding the company Servi Diesel Colombia was collected, as well as that of the vehicles that are presented, thus obtaining the engine with the highest input flow, in the same way the information regarding the Cummins ISX/450HP/15L engine was characterized. This information gives us to analyze the components and the level of importance of each and their due consequences if a failure is generated in one of them. All this is done through a criticality analysis, resulting in the most important subsystems of the engine. After having grouped all this information, the selected engine is studied, starting the criticality analysis procedure focused on the components and subsystems of the engine, in order to carry out its due diagnosis thus prioritizing an order to the realization of the maintenance plan. Following this we study the different types of maintenance and the relationship each has with the production process that is carried out in the company, in order to select the most suitable. Focusing on the diagnostics of critical components and subsystems and the selection of the selected maintenance plan, it was passed to the development of the maintenance plan, where it was carried out: the selection and evaluation of indicators, coding of components, identification of primary and secondary functions, identification of functional and technical failures, failure modes and designation of maintenance tasks.
