No obstante, el estudio de los efectos de la nicotina en tareas de aprendizaje y memoria espacial ha sido menos explorados y los efectos de la nicotina aguda no han sido sistemáticamente replicados. Por lo tanto, se planteó adaptar una tarea en el laberinto de brazos radial para la evaluación de los efectos de la nicotina durante adquisición. El entrenamiento de adquisición constó de 10 sesiones, una sesión por día. Se realizó la administración de 0,4 ml/kg de sal de tartrato de hidrógeno de nicotina para el grupo experimental y sal isotónica para el grupo control, en sesiones específicas. Análisis de datos indican que el desempeño comportamental de ambos grupos es consistente con un aprendizaje en la recuperación del reforzador. Por otra parte, en lo que compete a los efectos de la nicotina, los análisis sugieren que no hubo efectos comportamentales. Estos resultados se discuten en términos del laberinto radial como modelo y aspectos metodológicos relevantes para futuras investigaciones.The psychobiological effects of nicotine have been extensively studied using classical and operative conditioning procedures. However, the study of the effects of nicotine on learning tasks and spatial memory has been less explored and the effects of acute nicotine have not been systematically replicated. Therefore, it was proposed to adapt a task in the labyrinth of radial arms for the evaluation of the effects of nicotine during acquisition. The acquisition training consisted of 10 sessions, one session per day. Administration of 0.4 ml/kg of nicotine hydrogen tartrate salt was performed for the experimental group and isotonic salt for the control group in specific sessions. Data analysis indicates that the behavioral performance of both groups is consistent with a learning in the recovery of the enhancer. Moreover, as far as the effects of nicotine are concerned, analyses suggest that there were no behavioural effects.
