description La presente investigación se basó en el estudio de Herrera, Herrera y Expósito (2016) y tuvo como objetivo determinar el efecto del atractivo físico (alta o baja simetría facial), tanto del agresor como de la víctima sobre la percepción de acoso sexual callejero en una muestra de mujeres colombianas. El estudio tuvo un diseño factorial 2X2 inter-sujeto y contó con una muestra de 271 participantes mujeres, mayores de edad, nacionales a quienes se les asignó a una de cuatro condiciones aleatorias y se les aplicó una encuesta sociodemográfica, un cuestionario de igualdad de género, una situación hipotética de acoso sexual callejero y tres preguntas sobre la percepción de las participantes frente a la misma. Acorde a los análisis estadísticos (ANOVA) no se encontraron diferencias significativas en ninguno de los grupos experimentales, sobre la percepción de las participantes frente a la situación de acoso sexual y el grado de simetría facial de los implicados.

The study had an inter-subject 2X2 factorial design and had a sample of 271 female, adult, national participants who were assigned to one of four random conditions and were applied a sociodemographic survey, a gender equality questionnaire, a hypothetical situation of street sexual harassment and three questions about the perception of the participants in it.
