Con el objetivo de indagar sobre la asociación entre la homofobia internalizada y la violencia intragénero en población homosexual y bisexual de Bogotá y Medellín, esta investigación evaluó la relación entre la violencia intragénero y la homofobia internalizada. Se utilizó una muestra de 259 hombres y mujeres homosexuales y bisexuales, seleccionados mediante conveniencia por bola de nieve. Se recolectaron datos utilizando el CEPA para medir la violencia de pareja y el PHI para medir la homofobia internalizada. Los datos fueron analizados con el software estadístico JASP versión 0.17.2. Se encontró una correlación positiva baja pero estadísticamente significativa (p < 0.05) entre la homofobia internalizada y la lista de chequeo de experiencias de maltrato psicológico en la pareja. Se discute las implicaciones de esta relación. |
