Para ello, se utilizaron 4 ratas Wistar las cuales fueron entrenadas para oprimir una palanca en un IF 4 min, una vez estabilizada la respuesta, los animales fueron sometidos a un procedimiento de supresión condicionada donde se emparejó un tono (EC) con una luz intensa (EI) presentándose de forma no contingente a la conducta de palanqueo. Se tomaron mediciones de la tasa de respuesta, pausas post- reforzamiento y respuestas post- pausa para evaluar el efecto de la luz. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que la intensidad de luz manipulada no generó efectos supresores en la tasa de respuesta, por el contario, dicha medida se incrementó en los periodos del emparejamiento; la pausa post-reforzamiento no disminuyó como se esperaba y las respuestas post- pausa no mostraron cambios considerables ante lo presentación del EC y del EI. Los hallazgos de esta investigación pueden ayudar al refinamiento metodológico de futuras investigaciones donde se validen alternativas estimulativas al choque eléctrico como una luz intensa.The aim of the present investigation is to identify whether intense light (between 6000 and 9000 Lux) has suppressive effects on the operating behaviour in a conditional suppression procedure. To do this, 4 Wistar rats were used which were trained to press a lever in an IF 4 min, once the response was stabilized, the animals were subjected to a conditioned suppression procedure where a tone (EC) was paired with an intense light (EI) presenting itself in a noncontingent way to the behavior of palanqueo. Measurements of response rate, post-reinforcement pauses and post-pause responses were taken to assess the effect of light. The results showed that the manipulated light intensity did not generate suppressive effects on the response rate, on the other hand, said measure was increased in the pairing periods; the post-reinforcement pause did not decrease as expected and the post-reinforcement responses showed no significant changes to the presentation of the EC and IA.
