Igualmente, se establecen y analizan los requisitos para su debidaaplicación en el caso concreto, y prevenir así usos discrecionales, bien comoescudo contra pretensiones indebidas o como artilugio para acallar una pretensiónjuzgada molesta, que paradójicamente se le ha dado a esta valiosaherramienta fundada en la buena fe.The present paper approaches, from a legal, doctrinal and jurisprudentialperspective, the concept and extent of the “Own Acts Doctrine” or “VenireContra Factum Proprium Nulla Conceditur” as a general principle of whatit implies as a right, according to different law systems and, in particular,according to Argentinean law.
