Dicho convenio traza un sistema jurídi- co para lograr la restitución de tales bienes por iniciativa de las partes interesadas o de los estados, según los casos, construyendo una nueva “cultura legal” sobre el tratamiento jurídico de los bienes culturales en los circuitos internacionales del artículo El alcance-espacial del con- venio lo hace un instrumento idóneo para la regulación satisfactoria del tráfico de bienes culturales más allá de la Unión Europea. The present study analyzes the Convention on stolen or illegally exported cultural objects, made in Rome, 24 June 1995 and elaborated by UNIDROIT. This Convention draws up a legal system to obtain the restitution of such goods by iniciative of the interested parts or the States, according to the cases, constructing a new “legal culture” on the legal treatment of the cultural goods in the international circuits of the art.
