description	Al ubicar en el campo de la teología bíblica, el presente trabajo es una aproximación a la situación de las mujeres creyentes en la cultura vietnamita, desde las virtudes de la Santísima Virgen María como modelo perfecto para ellas. El método hermenéutico utilizado nos conduce a la reflexión y brinda claves de lectura y de comprensión sobre los textos bíblicos abordados; impulsando distintos posicionamientos con respecto a la realidad actual desde la experiencia humana. Este procedimiento enriquecerá el análisis propuesto sobre la Santísima Virgen María. En primer lugar, se presentan en el escrito algunas imágenes de las mujeres en la Biblia en su contexto histórico. En segundo lugar, se señala la figura de la santísima Virgen María en los cuatros evangelios. Se continúa con la figura de la Virgen María en la vida de la Iglesia y de las mujeres creyentes vietnamitas. La Virgen con su título vietnamita “Nuestra Señora de La Vang” ha sido para la mujer vietnamita el signo de esperanza, el ejemplo de la obediencia, del silencio contemplativo, de una perfecta discípula de Cristo. Por lo tanto, la figura de la Virgen María en la Biblia es fuente divina de inspiración y de esperanza en esa transformación. Esa figura permite guiar el discernimiento hacia un verdadero compromiso socio liberador.

The used hermeneutical method leads us to the reflection and provides keys to the reading and the comprehension of the chosen biblical texts; promoting different positions with respect to the current reality from the human experience. This procedure will enrich the proposed analysis on the Blessed Virgin Mary. Firstly, the writing presents some images of women in the Bible in their historical. Secondly, the figure of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the four Gospels is figured out and reflected. The text continues with the figure of the Virgin Mary in the life of the Church and of Vietnamese women believers. The Virgin with her Vietnamese title "Our Lady of La Vang" has been for the Vietnamese woman the sign of hope, the example of obedience, of contemplative silence, of a perfect disciple of Christ.
