Estas agrupaciones, cuyo conjunto es denominado por algunos autores “tercer sector”, lograron en el siglo XX ganar tal protagonismo que en la actualidad resulta necesario incorporarlas dentro del análisis político y jurídico internacional. Por este motivo, el autor aborda desde la perspectiva histórica, y con base en la teoría de la interdependencia, la forma como las ONG lograron abrirse espacios dentro del circuito jurídico internacional. This paper explores an significance phenomenon, but little studied by the academy in Colombia: the rise of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) as subjects ofinternational law. These clusters, which some authors had called "third sector", in the twentieth century managed to gain such prominence, that in present days it is necessary take into account them in both, the international legal system and international political analysis.
