El textil es piel y esa piel es invasiva nace de mi historia con un material; el textil. En los últimos años empiezo a revelar la importancia de interactuar con él. En una instancia, el lenguaje me permite explorar diferentes formas de acercarme al material y pensarlo como piel. Al pasar de la escritura a la acción realizo cuatro traje-objetos textiles pues no puedo dejar de pensar el material sin cuerpo. Cada uno de estos trajes está a disposición de realizar o improvisar una acción que permita darle vida al objeto. Entendí que a través del cuerpo encuentro una incorporación en carne viva con la obra. Allí reside para mí el significado, la búsqueda o el experimento; el contacto con el objeto, el tacto, el juego, lo íntimo, el enfrentamiento, las tensiones, la experiencia y lo transformativo. El cuerpo es el motor de lo que puede pasar con la tela. |

In recent years I begin to reveal the importance of interacting with it. In one instance, language allows me to explore different ways of approaching the material and thinking of it as skin. Going from writing to action, I make four textile suit-objects because I can't stop thinking about the material without a body. Each of these suits is there to perform or improvise an action that allows the object to come to life. I understood that through the body I incorporate myself with the work. That's where the meaning is, the search or the experiment; the contact with the object, the touch, the game, the intimate, the confrontation, the tensions, the experience and the transformative.
