Es un artículo de reflexión, que en su primera parte se enfoca en el olvido histórico de las víctimas, para luego abordar los temas referidos al obligatorio cambio de perspectiva en el sistema penal en cuanto a los derechos de éstas, de un modo acorde con la Constitución colombiana y con el derecho internacional de los derechos humanos. Finalmente, se refiere de manera específica a los derechos: al acceso a lajusticia y al tratamiento equitativo ante la ley, a la reparación integral y a una indemnización, a la asistencia necesaria para su recuperación y a una futura convivencia pacífica.This article is a result of the line of victimology of the resarch team “Estudios de Derecho Público” (acknowledged by Colciencias - “A” category). It is a reflection paper that focuses in its first part in the historical oversight of victims, to further aboard the subjects referred to the necessary change of perspective in the Colombian criminal justice system in reference to victim´s rights, in accordance with the Colombian constitution and with the international law of human rights.
