It is found that there are no radical differences between the two groups in relation to the meaning of work (hobby; activity of the mind; collection of values; challenge; blessing; difficulty, effort, and slavery), which could be related with the fact that the value systems, of which the meanings are a part of remain, prevalent for a long time and seem not to be strongly affected by the restructurings of the labor field.Este artículo presenta algunas ideas en torno a la dimensión subjetiva del trabajo a partir de una investigación etnográfica con dos grupos de profesionales, uno conformado por quienes se insertan en el mercado laboral antes de 1990 y otro por quienes lo hacen después. Se encuentra que no existen diferencias radicales entre uno y otro grupo en relación a la forma como se significa el trabajo (hobby; ocupación de la mente; conjunto de valores; reto; bendición; dificultad, esfuerzo y esclavitud), lo que podría estar relacionado con el hecho de que los sistemas de valores, de los que las significaciones hacen parte, perviven durante un largo tiempo y parecen no verse fuertemente afectados por las restructuraciones del mundo del trabajo.10 páginasspaEL AUTOR, expresa que la obra objeto de la presente autorización es original y la elaboró sin quebrantar ni suplantar los derechos de autor de terceros, y de tal forma, la obra es de su exclusiva autoría y tiene la titularidad sobre éste.
