The results of the literary review are combined, which allows to identify the state of the art of ethics at national and international level; from the interviews, which refers to the structure of the integrity code; and from the surveys, which have information on the content of the integrity code. Finally, the proposal is validated by experts from the perspective of axiology, project management and the public sector. According to the consolidated information, it is concluded that people linked to public investment projects receive attention in the fulfillment of ethics and transparency in the development of their daily functions; however, the commitment in its daily task oriented to the common good is evident. In addition, we identified the idea of ​​this proposal was well received because there is an expectation of an instrument that guides and mitigates the ethical problems that arise for public servants and contractors.

In addition, we identified the idea of ​​this proposal was well received because there is an expectation of an instrument that guides and mitigates the ethical problems that arise for public servants and contractors.El trabajo de grado tiene como propósito contribuir con el fortalecimiento de la ética y conducta profesional en la gerencia de proyectos de inversión pública en Colombia, mediante la creación de un código de integridad que guie el accionar de las personas involucradas en un proyecto de inversión pública. La investigación que se realiza es de enfoque cualitativo y descriptivo, procedente de la revisión de literatura, entrevistas, encuestas y juicio de expertos. Se combinan los resultados de la revisión literaria, que permiten identificar el estado del arte de la ética a nivel nacional e internacional; de las entrevistas, que establecen la estructura del código de integridad; y de las encuestas, que proporcionan información del contenido del código de integridad. Finalmente, mediante el juicio de expertos se valida la propuesta desde la perspectiva de la axiología, la gerencia de proyectos y el sector público. De acuerdo con la información consolidada, se concluye que las personas vinculadas a proyectos de inversión pública perciben una carencia en el cumplimiento de la ética y transparencia en el desarrollo de sus funciones diarias; sin embargo, se evidencia el compromiso en sus labores orientados al bien común. Adicionalmente, identificamos que la idea de esta propuesta fue bien recibida porque existe la expectativa de un instrumento que oriente y mitigue los problemas éticos que se presentan para los
