Based on the above, it is evident that the aging of the population has profound implications for the planning and delivery of health and social care. It is there when a new concept of vital importance emerges, which is the condition of fragility. Frailty can be defined as a clinical state where there is an increase in the vulnerability of a person to develop greater dependency and / or mortality when exposed to stressors. In this way, the present research work aims to design and implement a web application, in order to calculate the fragility index in people of both sexes over 25 years of age, through the use of the CaMos fragility scale.

Para el 2050, la proporción de los habitantes del planeta en este rango de edad se duplicará, pasando del 11% al 22%. A nivel mundial, el envejecimiento de la población es de especial importancia para las naciones por sus implicaciones económicas, médicas y sociales. Basados en lo anterior, se evidencia que el envejecimiento de la población trae consigo profundas implicaciones para el planeamiento y la prestación de asistencia sanitaria y social. Es allí cuando surge un nuevo concepto de vital importancia que es la condición de fragilidad. La fragilidad se puede definir como un estado clínico donde hay un aumento de la vulnerabilidad de una persona a desarrollar una mayor dependencia y/o mortalidad cuando se expone a factores estresantes.
