Description
Summary:In the document the development of a comprehensive methodology that allows the evaluation of flood events in coastal areas, corresponding affectations and alternative solution is presented. The methodology provides different entities a planning tool with clearly preventive vocation and not curative, that by linking the study of a multidisciplinary working group allows the analysis, assessment and decision-making on technical, environmental, social, economic and other relevant issues of planning processes involved with the assessment of damages generated by flood events. The methodological approach addresses three structured phases, thinking about prevention, so that conclusions and recommendations to decision making in the planning process are obtained at the end of each.
