Es por ello que surgió la necesidad de realizar una revisión de los procedimientos indicados para el diseño de muros en voladizo por el método LRFD con el fin de verificar la aplicabilidad en la práctica local de la ingeniería geotécnica.In 2014, the Colombian Code of Bridges CCP-14 was implemented, which bases its designs on the LRFD method, a method that is not well known in the country in terms of geotechnical application; which is why the concern was generated as to whether the designs that are being made since their implementation are being suitable or not for local conditions.
