Description
Summary:The first years of life exert a very important influence on the personal and social development of all children, in that period they develop their personal identity, acquire basic skills and learn the basic guidelines to integrate into social life. Therefore, to guide children from an early age, that recycling exists in order to avoid the destruction of the environment and educate them as responsible citizens and careful with the environment, we must do it with practical learning through games, dynamics and other activities that motivate to participate in recycling, since the first years of life constitute a period of intense learning. The project aims to take advantage of all the attitudes that children have in this age to experiment and implement environmental education and proper solid waste management with the design of a guide for kindergartens of the District Social Integration Secretariat, thus for environmental improvement and assuming a commitment to implement the proposals contained in the Institutional Environmental Management Plan (PIGA) in such a way that legal compliance, awareness and responsibility with the environment is guaranteed. This document is oriented to the design of a guide, under methodological monitoring in three phases, the first of which is the diagnosis, in which it is investigated about the current situation regarding the management of solid waste generated in the kindergartens of the District Department of Social Integration (SDIS) during the development of the activities, contrasting it with the current environmental regulations and stipulated in the PIGA (Institutional Plan for Environmental Management), observations, collection and analysis of primary information. It is happening, as it is becoming evident and since when. In the second phase, the causes of the problem and the solution alternatives necessary for the normal development of PIGA will be determined in terms of the solid waste program through the evaluation of shortcomings and the subsequent proposal of management alternatives that offer greater viability (Technique, Environmental, legal and safety in children). The last phase contains the structure of the guide for learning in the management of solid waste mainly for children between 0 to 5 years, which facilitates its implementation within the kindergarten year after year no longer as informal but formal education within the Teachers' work program.
