description	At the national level, there is a contrast between the hydraulic design for urban sewage and the hydraulic road design, where, for the first case, standard formats are used, endorsed and suggested by some entities providing public services in order to guarantee the quality of the designs, and streamline and give reliability to the review by the supervisor; the second case, various formats developed by the designer are used, based on methodologies and models endorsed in the Road Drainage Manual of Invías, so that if, in the opinion of the supervisor, information must be included or deleted in the data presentation and results, greater time is generated in the execution of the designs for such projects. Due to the above, based on the theory presented in the Road Drainage Manual of Invías and the requeriments in road projects, a standard format is proposed for the presentation of the hydraulic design of minor culverts, from hydraulic diagnosis and evaluation of the existing culverts, to the dimensioning of the culverts required for the correct drainage of the road corridors, with optimal results of application for the inlet control condition; for the outlet control condition, differences were obtained due to the characteristics and conditions that are present when the culverts as a closed pipe and in some cases with partially filled flow, but this not altering the criterion design of inlet flow control or outlet flow control.

Due to the above, based on the theory presented in the Road Drainage Manual of Invías and the requeriments in road projects, a standard format is proposed for the presentation of the hydraulic design of minor culverts, from hydraulic diagnosis and evaluation of the existing culverts, to the dimensioning of the culverts required for the correct drainage of the road corridors, with optimal results of application for the inlet control condition; for the outlet control condition, differences were obtained due to the characteristics and conditions that are present when the culverts as a closed pipe and in some cases with partially filled flow, but this not altering the criterion design of inlet flow control or outlet flow control.A nivel nacional, existe un contraste entre el diseño hidráulico para alcantarillado urbano y el diseño hidráulico para carreteras, donde, para el primer caso se recurre a formatos estándares avalados y sugeridos por algunas entidades de prestación de servicios públicos con el fin de garantizar la calidad de los diseños, y agilizar y dar confiabilidad a la revisión por parte del ente interventor; para el segundo caso regularmente se emplean diversos formatos elaborados por el diseñador, basados en metodologías y modelos avalados en el Manual de Drenaje para Carreteras del Invías, de manera que, si a juicio del interventor se debe incluir o eliminar información en la presentación de datos y resultados, se generan mayores tiempos en la ejecución de los diseños para tales proyectos. Por lo anterior, fundamentado en la teoría presentada en el Manual de Drenaje para Carreteras del Invías y las necesidades que se presentan en los proyectos viales, se propone un formato estándar para la presentación del diseño hidráulico de alcantarillas menores, desde el diagnóstico y evaluación hidráulica de las obras existentes, hasta el dimensionamiento de las obras de arte que se requieran para el correcto drenaje de los corredores viales, con óptimos resultados de aplicació para la condición con control a la entrada; para la condición con control a la salida se obtuvieron diferencias en razón de las características y condiciones que se presentan cuando la obra funciona como un conducto cerrado y en algunos casos con flujo parcialmente lleno, sin que esto altere el criterio de diseño de flujo con control a la entrada o flujo con control a la salida.MaestríaMagíster en Ingeniería Civil con Énfasis en Recursos Hidráulicos y Medio Ambienteapplication/pdfapplication/vnd.ms-excelspaDerechos Reservados -
