It is evident that there are gaps not only in literature in relation to the contributions of a QMS to educational institutions in terms of innovation, but they do not address case studies, which is why this research deals with case studies and analysis corresponding to provide an input not only to organizations that intend to adopt innovation - oriented, but future research a QMS. That is why through this research, we want to know the contribution that could have the SGC to innovation and customer satisfaction for the purpose of responding to such linking and integrating quality practices in the school and innovation. Finding the best way is to address the QMS to guide you to results focused on the satisfaction of stakeholders, results that can be achieved by incorporating key process activities (including activities that warrant greater commitment of resources), participation staff and training. Given the satisfaction of stakeholders is recognized as innovation and its approach to QMS it is given.

De igual forma, las instituciones educativas han optado por incorporar el modelo internacional ISO 9001, como apoyo a sus actividades académicas y han presentado algunas problemáticas en lo referente a su integración o adaptación para la correcta implementación, algunos de estos inconvenientes incluso derivados de la implementación del SGC, mediante la contratación de empresas consultoras. Se evidencia que hay vacíos no solo en la literatura en relación a los aportes de un SGC a las instituciones educativas en términos de innovación, sino que no abordan casos de estudio, es por esto que la presente investigación aborda los casos de estudio y su análisis correspondiente para brindar un insumo no sólo a las organizaciones que pretendan adoptar un SGC orientado a la innovación, sino a futuras investigaciones. Es por esto que a través de esta investigación, se quiere conocer el aporte que podría tener el SGC a la innovación y a la satisfacción del cliente con el propósito de dar respuesta de como relacionar e integrar las prácticas de calidad en la institución educativa y la innovación. Encontrándose que la mejor forma es abordar el SGC para orientarlo a resultados enfocados a la satisfacción de las partes interesadas, resultados que se pueden lograr mediante la incorporación de actividades claves de los procesos incluyendo actividades que ameriten una mayor dedicación de recursos, la participación del personal, la capacitación.
