Summary:In the present investigation a comparative analysis is made between microenterprise and SME (small and medium enterprises) since many authors join these two terms in one, forming the word mipymes (micro, small and medium enterprises). However, for the purposes of this study each type of company is addressed individually with the purpose of knowing the distinctive characteristics of each of them. An analysis is made to companies that meet the criteria of microenterprise and SME, to conclude that there are particularities that make these two terms can not be homogeneous, since SMEs in the financial area seek to know their debt capacity, also in relation to customers seek to examine their opinion regarding the product or service, have a higher degree of technology immersed in their production processes and apply continuous improvement techniques.In addition, the research is justified in that in Colombia, one hundred percent of the companies, the ninety-seven are micro-enterprises together with this, in the city of Bogota is the highest concentration of bakeries nationwide. One of the points to be highlighted is that, microbreweries lack tools that help measure their performance, leading them not to grow. Therefore, it is proposed to know the performance indicators in the bakery microenterprises of the city of Bogotá, through the design of a Scorecard (CM) which is a tool that will encourage decision-makers and microentrepreneurs control of the company.
