Description
Summary:The Florida swamp is a natural water body located in the savanna of Bogotá, which borders on the north with the municipality of Cota, on the southwest with Funza and on the east with the Bogota river. At present it is an important axis of development, in whose perimeter are settled several industrial parks, which has generated a transformation in its surroundings, modifying its topography and natural water recharge. In addition, it serves as a point of supply for the La Isla reservoir, which belongs to the Hydraulic System for Environmental Management and Flood Control The Ramada, SHMACI The Ramada, which operates the Operational and Infrastructure Division, DOI, a unit of the Cundinamarca Regional Autonomous Corporation , CAR. This document presents the degree of eutrophication of the marsh with information obtained through the installation of seven sampling stations, of which six were located in the perimeter and one in the interior. In addition, with the development of two sampling campaigns to determine the total nitrogen (NTK), phosphorus (P), iron (He), dissolved oxygen (OD) and pH loads present in the source. Based on the methodologies established by Vollenweider, with the eutrophication index proposed by Karydis and the use of ArcGis' weighted inverse distance, the La Florida swamp was found to be in a eutrophic state, which puts the flora and fauna at risk Houses
