Summary: | Daily, in public transportation, users generate a large amount of data, which becomes information and results in important knowledge for society, because it reveals to us the current state of our transport systems. This system is an important axis for city planning and management since it has established itself as a service that caters to a large number of people; Bus rapid transit(BRT) is one of the most used transport systems which generates a large amount of data and it is a world referent in transportation, so it is relevant to take as a basis the advances already developed by other researchers. In this context, we try to answer the question: How can we measure the efficiency of BRT in a city? For this, using business intelligence and data analytics tools, we propose a methodology like a sequence of steps to generate indicators that allow us to expand the knowledge we have about the efficiency of BRT. |
