Then one-dimensional and twodimensional modeling was performed in Hec-Ras and Iber, the Bogota River bordering the urban area Villapinzón, commonly used in modeling rivers, but which has been focused in this paper the analysis of threat flood and vulnerability of structures, homes and agricultural land. Finally, the analysis of risks to which the municipality is exposed by the phenomenon of growing and the damages or losses they may cause in the town of Villapinzon presented.

También se cita un análisis climatológico y de lluvias de la zona en estudio. En seguida se realiza un análisis hidrológico en la cuenca alta del río Bogotá en el sector de Villapinzon basado en herramientas computacionales Hec.Hms. Posteriormente se realizan modelaciones unidimensionales y bidimensionales en Hec-Ras e Íber, del río Bogotá que colinda con el casco urbano del municipio de Villapinzon, utilizadas comúnmente en modelación de ríos, pero la cual, se ha orientado en este trabajo al análisis de amenaza por inundación y de la vulnerabilidad de las estructuras, viviendas, vías y terrenos agrícolas.
