El presente trabajo asumió como objetivo principal evaluar la presencia de Legionella pneumophila en muestras de agua tomadas de tres puntos diferentes de un hospital municipal, que, si bien no es habitual su detección, si resulta ser bastante oportuno su identificación, cuantificación y posible eliminación del recurso hídrico. |

From its natural habitat it can colonize the water supply systems of a city, and through the distribution networks enter the human being as a pathogenic organism.
