In order to achieve this, a systematic structured review was done searching four scientific databases: ScienceDirect, Emerald, ProQuest, and EBSCO and using only full articles published in indexed journals. From this analysis it can be concluded that BPM is an integrated management system based on processes that uses specialized information systems and covers up every operative and business process in an organization to make it more productive and competitive, thus ensuring a continuous improvement and a permanent maintenance of processes according to the organization’s strategy.7 páginasapplication/pdfspaUniversidad Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio GaravitoBogotá (Colombia)https://www.escuelaing.edu.co/es/investigacion-e-innovacion/editorial-de-la-escuelacolombiana-de-ingenieria/Qué es Business Process Management (BPM).
