Summary: | This dissertation is a rigorous investigation that studies two important essential materials in construction: Polymer Fiber Reinforced (FRP) and Ultra-High-Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC), and their applications for strengthening and rehabilitation. Hence, this study exposes and describes the history, characteristics, types, laboratory tests, and applications of these materials by collecting data from previously published works. Then, a deep comparison of the features of these materials and especially an evaluation of the possibility to use these together to reinforce structures and for structures rehabilitation are assessed. |
