The study includes the analysis of the presentation of self that a group of students hold in a Social Network Site (profile on Facebook) and the elaboration of a personal Blog in Internet. In this sense, we tried to find the effort (elements and time) dedicated to this communicative production and its relation with the presence of “the-other” in these virtual environments. After the realization of three content analysis, the research concludes that there are some identity categories that best define us in Social Networks (Membership of social groups and likes) and Blogs (Styles of conduct and evasive answers). Besides, the study confirms our initial hypothesis referring to the fact that the more presence and knowing of “the-other”, the more communicative effort we dedicate to present our identity in virtual environments.application/pdfhttps://revistas.urosario.edu.co/index.php/disertaciones/article/view/3942http://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/15291spaUniversidad del Rosario / Universidad de Los Andes / Universidad Complutense de Madridhttps://revistas.urosario.edu.co/index.php/disertaciones/article/view/3942/2878https://revistas.urosario.edu.co/index.php/disertaciones/article/view/3942/2879Copyright (c) 2016 Anuario electrónico de estudios en Comunicación Social "DisertacionesAbierto (Texto completo)http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2Anuario electrónico de estudios en Comunicación Social "Disertaciones"; Vol. 3, Núm. 1 (2010): (Ene-Jun) Identidad juvenil y comunicación; 139-189Anuario electrónico de estudios en Comunicación Social "Disertaciones"; Vol. 3, Núm. 1 (2010): (Ene-Jun) Identidad juvenil y comunicación; 139-189Anuario electrónico de estudios en Comunicación Social "Disertaciones"; Vol. 3, Núm. 1 (2010): (Ene-Jun) Identidad juvenil y comunicación; 139-1891856-9536instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURPresentación PersonalIdentidadEntornos VirtualesRedes SocialesBlogsIdentityPersonal PresentationVirtual EnvironmentsSocial NetworksBlogsThe Presentation of Self in Blogs and Social NetworksLa presentación del sí-mismo en Blogs y Redes SocialesarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Arcila Calderón, Carlos10336/15291oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/152912021-06-03 00:48:33.209http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0Copyright (c) 2016 Anuario electrónico de estudios en Comunicación Social "Disertacioneshttps://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co
