This point is essential in a world where the phenomenon of globalization and convergence is a reality. Therefore, in the field of international comparative research, qualitative and quantitative techniques must be used in order to better understand this. Hence, this article proposes that the comparative perspective of journalistic cultures must come together with the use of qualitative and quantitative methodology because in media studies in general, and in journalism in particular, are the largest producers of meaning.application/pdfISSN: 1857-7881EISSN: 1857-7431https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/27898engEuropean Scientific Institute228No. 17207European Scientific JournalVol. 9European Scientific Journal, ISSN: 1857-7881; EISSN: 1857-7431, Vol.9, No.17 (2013); pp. 207-228http://eujournal.org/index.php/esj/article/view/1167/1184Abierto (Texto Completo)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2European Scientific Journalinstname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURJournalistic cultureInternational comparative studiesQuantitative methodsQualitative methodsMix methodsInternational comparative studies: Towards the integration of quantitative and qualitative methodsEstudios internacionales comparativos: hacia la integración de métodos cuantitativos y cualitativosarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Barredo Ibáñez, DanielOller Alonso, MartínORIGINAL1167-Article-Text-3473-1-10-20130630.pdfapplication/pdf124808https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/eaf52e71-b179-47f7-8ccc-deaa83e34c27/download86c375881f42e8171002f292a51565abMD51TEXT1167-Article-Text-3473-1-10-20130630.pdf.txt1167-Article-Text-3473-1-10-20130630.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain63646https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/2e0f6989-32f3-4f45-b158-e25916b69a66/downloadd95d74305816e52df6919bde4721a749MD52THUMBNAIL1167-Article-Text-3473-1-10-20130630.pdf.jpg1167-Article-Text-3473-1-10-20130630.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4719https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/dac6e0c7-c7a8-4b46-9ce2-c8d584dd4840/downloadc139db94dda905329f5fb3d22a615dbcMD5310336/27898oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/278982021-06-03 00:51:07.326https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co
