The characteristics of children which make them vulnerable to labor; 2. The diseases and accidents related with child labor, and 3. The injuries associated with the childs' occupations, such as agriculture, construction, manufacture, textiles, leather industry, street sales and sales in marketplaces. METHODS: The Medline, EBSCO, PROQUEST and HINARI databases were searched, and material from the International Labor Organization, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Association of Psychology was reviewed. RESULTS: Information regarding occupational risk in children is poor as compared with information in adults. Children have characteristics which make them particularly vulnerable to occupational risks and there are no clear standards to protect them.application/pdfhttps://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/23137spa288No. 3270Revista de salud pública (BogotáVol. 6Revista de salud pública (Bogotá, Colombia), Vol.6, No.3 (2004); pp. 270-288https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-14944354832&partnerID=40&md5=dcbd64214a4763f50cf8e45c246960b4Abierto (Texto Completo)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURAdolescentChildChild developmentEmploymentHumanOccupational accidentOccupational diseasePreschool childReviewStatisticsAdolescentChildChild developmentEmploymentHumansOccupational diseasespreschooloccupationalAccidentsChildEffects of child labor upon the health of the child workerEfectos del trabajo infantil en la salud del menor trabajador.articleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Ayala L.B.Rondón A.M.ORIGINALa04v6n3.pdfapplication/pdf98098https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/a1038615-7118-4cc1-a481-ce6873c854a3/downloade3ce72d98d4983e03a0b3dde392076c0MD51TEXTa04v6n3.pdf.txta04v6n3.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain46410https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/90e25e13-cc90-4fd4-89e4-574cc93c8ce0/download048703a1bf5980617cc992e973f46fe4MD52THUMBNAILa04v6n3.pdf.jpga04v6n3.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg3800https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/a9bc56ae-42be-40ce-baf4-f9ed8d5fd833/download3273b5d78a90929785b4b03d7dbe4adcMD5310336/23137oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/231372022-05-02 07:37:19.149239https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co
