A lo largo de este estudio se analizó la cultura de innovación en una empresa colombiana, Colsubsidio, centrando el análisis en los factores que limitan y habilitan una cultura orientada a la innovación. Se utilizó una metodología compuesta por una revisión de literatura para identificar los principales factores que influyen en la creación de una cultura de innovación y un enfoque estadístico para explorar las percepciones de los empleados en diferentes departamentos, con un enfoque particular en la Gerencia de Educación, Cultura y Productividad en Colsubsidio, una organización en el sector de servicios sociales en Colombia. Los resultados revelan que, aunque existe un alto nivel de apoyo percibido de los líderes hacia la innovación, la participación real de los colaboradores en proyectos innovadores es baja. Se identificaron barreras clave como la falta de tiempo y la burocracia. El estudio también encontró que la comunicación efectiva y el conocimiento de los programas de innovación tienen un impacto significativo en la percepción de la empresa como innovadora. Además, se observó una fuerte relación entre el impacto interno de las iniciativas de innovación y su efecto percibido en los clientes. Las conclusiones sugieren la necesidad de estrategias personalizadas para fomentar la innovación, considerando las diferencias demográficas y departamentales, así como la importancia de abordar las barreras identificadas para crear un entorno más propicio para la innovación. |

Se utilizó una metodología compuesta por una revisión de literatura para identificar los principales factores que influyen en la creación de una cultura de innovación y un enfoque estadístico para explorar las percepciones de los empleados en diferentes departamentos, con un enfoque particular en la Gerencia de Educación, Cultura y Productividad en Colsubsidio, una organización en el sector de servicios sociales en Colombia. Los resultados revelan que, aunque existe un alto nivel de apoyo percibido de los líderes hacia la innovación, la participación real de los colaboradores en proyectos innovadores es baja. Se identificaron barreras clave como la falta de tiempo y la burocracia. El estudio también encontró que la comunicación efectiva y el conocimiento de los programas de innovación tienen un impacto significativo en la percepción de la empresa como innovadora. Además, se observó una fuerte relación entre el impacto interno de las iniciativas de innovación y su efecto percibido en los clientes. Las conclusiones sugieren la necesidad de estrategias personalizadas para fomentar la innovación, considerando las diferencias demográficas y departamentales, así como la importancia de abordar las barreras identificadas para crear un entorno más propicio para la innovación.Throughout this study, the innovation culture in a Colombian company, Colsubsidio, was analyzed, focusing the analysis on the factors that limit and enable an innovation-oriented culture. A methodology composed of a literature review was used to identify the main factors that influence the creation of an innovation culture and a statistical approach to explore employee perceptions in different departments, with a particular focus on the Education, Culture and Productivity Department at Colsubsidio, an organization in the social services sector in Colombia. The results reveal that, although there is a high level of perceived support from leaders towards innovation, the actual participation of employees in innovative projects is low. Key barriers such as lack of time and bureaucracy were identified. The study also found that effective communication and knowledge of innovation programs have a significant impact on the perception of the company as innovative. Furthermore, a strong relationship was observed between the internal impact of innovation initiatives and their perceived effect on customers.
