Recently there have been important advances in knowledge of the pathogenesis of alcohol damage. Important advances have also been made in regard to the mechanisms of pancreatic fibrinogenesis and the role of the stellate cells in the fibrosis of this disease. Genetic mutations involved in the process of activation/inactivation of trypsinogen in the pancreas, and other mutations in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) that affect bicarbonate secretion, have been described as related to the development of chronic Pancreatitis of different etiologies such as idiopathic, alcoholic and tropical Pancreatitis. © 2008 Asociaciones Colombianas de Gastroenterología, Endoscopia digestiva, Coloproctología y Hepatología.application/pdf1209957https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/23018eng298No. 3290Revista Colombiana de GastroenterologiaVol. 23Revista Colombiana de Gastroenterologia, ISSN:1209957, Vol.23, No.3 (2008); pp. 290-298https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-58149185187&partnerID=40&md5=30984cee5693d6dfcc7e45400c994e15Abierto (Texto Completo)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURChronic pancreatitisPathophysiologyReviewPathogenesis of chronic pancreatitisFisiopatología de la pancreatitis crónicaarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Lizarazo R J.I.ORIGINAL493683.pdfapplication/pdf3135364https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/d6f19aaa-a406-4547-aba4-75bcc5c18867/download425697b3cd67290b16f9ac7e282054b6MD51TEXT493683.pdf.txt493683.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain38538https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/53141a49-bfb6-4958-a61e-dcb632350419/downloade8851f232fe09d068109da7e8cf77bfaMD52THUMBNAIL493683.pdf.jpg493683.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg3473https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/989c4437-fc77-4512-b538-6d67f2024913/downloadad6d210cac2b78beba423ba730b1ec58MD5310336/23018oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/230182022-05-02 07:37:20.711002https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co
