In this study, we focus on the latter in three countries-Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador-, which have been identified owing to their technological gap and the emerging importance of online communication for their respective societies. Through 35 in-depth interviews with journalists from these countries, we analyzed the concept of interactivity of these professionals and their relationship with users. The results revealed that the journalists positively valued civic contributions as a space for diagnosis, although they do not perceive its informational value, as they relate them to the context of opinions. These results verify the prevalence of journalism as strongly influenced by conventional offline production routines. © 2019 by the authors.application/pdfhttps://doi.org/10.3390/info1005017320782489https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/24311engMDPI AGNo. 5InformationVol. 10Information (Switzerland), ISSN:20782489, Vol.10, No.5 (2019)https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-85065872701&doi=10.3390%2finfo10050173&partnerID=40&md5=cd305247d9197dffe3af10e52c6d72c7Abierto (Texto Completo)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURCollaborative modelColombiaIn-depth interviewsInteractivityJournalismOfflineOn-line communicationOnline participationCollaborative modelsInteractivityJournalismOnline participationInteractivity in cybermedia news: An interview with journalists in Colombia, Peru, and EcuadorarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Ibáñez, Daniel BarredoGarzón, Karen Tatiana PintoFreundt-Thurne, ÚrsulaMorales, Narcisa MedrandaORIGINALinformation-10-00173.pdfapplication/pdf582769https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/25870ab2-e5a9-40ef-acde-14e5d7707e68/downloadb12d0b7c5adfe4471a538dcd0e247f4fMD51TEXTinformation-10-00173.pdf.txtinformation-10-00173.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain58754https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/f868126f-4229-4b55-833a-353579817dd0/download65cac1f0bfb6cbcc2b482937b337f777MD52THUMBNAILinformation-10-00173.pdf.jpginformation-10-00173.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4969https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/4fa60edb-c6f3-4d75-94a2-0f40d1a41e83/download058115035e0c26f291f807ef5bbcbe65MD5310336/24311oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/243112022-05-02 07:37:21.675442https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co |
