We explore environmental value conflicts regarding the use of the park, describing them as a Wicked Problem that has no clear solution. Juxtaposing how the territory is perceived by different communities, we employ Faber et al.'s heuristic of the three tele of living nature to search for deficiency in the third telos, service, which we take to be symptomatic of Wicked Problems. Based on field data encoded using the three-tele heuristic, concerning how the respective communities would like to use the park area, we identify deficiencies in the third telos and develop recommendations regarding how these might be addressed.application/pdfhttps://doi.org/10.3197/096327117X15002190708128ISSN: 0963-2719EISSN: 1752-7015https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/27842engWhite Horse Press605No. 5583Environmental ValuesVol. 26Environmental Values, ISSN: 0963-2719; EISSN: 1752-7015, Vol.26, No.5 (2015); pp. 583-605https://www.ingentaconnect.com/content/whp/ev/2017/00000026/00000005/art00005Restringido (Acceso a grupos específicos)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_16ecEnvironmental Valuesinstname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURAfro-descendant communitiesColombiaUtría National ParkWicked ProblemsIndigenous peoplesProtected areasTeleologyValue conflictsA teleological approach to the wicked problem of managing Utría national parkUna aproximación teleológica al perverso problema de la gestión del parque nacional UtríaarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Farrell, Katharine NoraAcosta García, NicolásHeikkinen ,Hannu ISarkki, Simo10336/27842oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/278422021-06-03 00:51:04.524https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co
