Uno de esos casos es Turquía, que en los últimos años se ha proyectado, amparada en la diplomacia cultural y en el poder blando, en su región. Consecuentemente, el presente artículo explora dicha problemática en tres dimensiones; la historia turca que da cuenta de sus rasgos más protuberantes, la posición de Turquía en la Guerra Fría que devela una búsqueda de equilibrios, y el alcance regional.The projection of emerging powers is a phenomenon that demonstrates the will of some States to recover political spaces from the past or to attain a visibility they never had before. In the midst of this discussion, there are other nations with different ambitions, because their aim is not global. Turkey is one of these cases, as in recent years has projected itself in the region, sheltered in the cultural diplomacy and the use of soft power.
