The objective of this study was to identify the psychosocial and environmental risk factors for mental disorders, in users of psychological services in Colombia. The Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview and a Questionnaire to evaluate the Axis-IV of the DSM-IV-TR were applied to 490 participants. The analysis comprised descriptive statistics and risk factors. As risk factors for depression, there were identified housing problems, access to health care services, problems related to the primary group, economics, problems of the social environment, and labor. For generalized anxiety, there were identified economic and education issues. For panic disorders, the risk factors were related to social environment, and for social phobia, the risk factors were problems in education, work and social environment.application/pdf1214381https://repository.urosario.edu.co/handle/10336/23350engFundacion Universitaria Konrad Lorenz68No. 159Suma PsicologicaVol. 17Suma Psicologica, ISSN:1214381, Vol.17, No.1 (2010); pp. 59-68https://www.scopus.com/inward/record.uri?eid=2-s2.0-79952344097&partnerID=40&md5=615532169dcd1cdb8b604aa068d03c4aAbierto (Texto Completo)http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2instname:Universidad del Rosarioreponame:Repositorio Institucional EdocURDepressionGeneralized anxietyMental healthPanicPsychosocial and environmental problemsSocial phobiaPsychosocial and environmental risk factors associated with mental disordersFactores de riesgo psicosociales y ambientales asociados a trastornos mentalesarticleArtículohttp://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501Londoño N.H.Marín C.A.Juárez, FernandoPalacio J.Muñiz O.Escobar B.Herrón I.Agudelo D.Lemos M.Toro B.E.Ochoa N.L.Hurtado M.H.Gómez Y.Uribe A.F.Rojas A.L.Pinilla M.L.Villa-Roel D.Villegas M.J.Arango A.L.Restrepo P.A.López I.C.ORIGINALv17n1a5.pdfapplication/pdf464460https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/95d0e3a5-b6db-45ae-9da0-9a44f409a04f/downloadc20735e4cdde2823c4bd575e2b5ed8b7MD51TEXTv17n1a5.pdf.txtv17n1a5.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain38986https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/f200a4a6-3b86-4eae-b014-74f7f230193f/download1bdcb198bf86c590cf6ac9501294affdMD52THUMBNAILv17n1a5.pdf.jpgv17n1a5.pdf.jpgGenerated Thumbnailimage/jpeg4243https://repository.urosario.edu.co/bitstreams/d172b8d0-6ee5-4869-89be-992d20b6206f/download252689861601de91cc57bc896062378dMD5310336/23350oai:repository.urosario.edu.co:10336/233502022-05-02 07:37:16.677472https://repository.urosario.edu.coRepositorio institucional EdocURedocur@urosario.edu.co
